Müşterek Berlin
About This Spot
Stepping into Müşterek Berlin feels like being warmly welcomed into a cherished neighborhood gathering spot—an unhurried refuge where the lively spirit of a traditional Turkish meyhane quietly hums beneath the walls. There’s a familiar ease to the room, where conversations flow as naturally as the carefully poured rakı, and the gentle rhythm of music sets a balance between cozy intimacy and convivial energy.
The pace invites you to slow down and savor the moment, surrounded by the subtle hum of shared stories and laughter. Here, the atmosphere is shaped not just by the carefully curated décor, but by the thoughtful attentiveness that the staff offers, making every visit feel like a return to a beloved local haunt rather than a mere meal.
At the heart of Müşterek’s experience lies its meze culture — an artful celebration of flavors where each plate arrives as part of a communal story. The freshness and personality of these small dishes allow the senses to wander through the Mediterranean coastlines, evoking tastes that are as much about memory as they are about place. Dishes that might be unfamiliar to some—like yaprak ciğer or delicately prepared seafood—are presented with a reverence that invites exploration, turning every bite into a discovery.
This is a place where food and drink are woven into an experience that feels genuine and grounded, with an honesty rarely found in establishments beyond Turkey’s borders. The combination of warmth from the kitchen and attentiveness from the hosts creates a setting where guests relax into connection—whether it’s a quiet night of reflection or a lively dinner with friends retracing the pleasures of home.
For those seeking more than just a meal, Müşterek Berlin offers a subtle invitation to immerse in a tradition of shared moments, where the joy is found both in the robust flavors and the human resonance that fills the space.

A perfect spot in Berlin if you miss the authentic rakı restaurant experience from Izmir or Istanbul. The atmosphere feels just like home, warm and friendly. The mezes are fresh and delicious, and the yaprak ciğer (liver) is simply outstanding – probably the best you can find outside of Turkey. A must-visit place if you want to enjoy real Turkish flavors with rakı in Berlin!

A truly authentic Turkish meyhane experience in the heart of Berlin. The mezes are absolutely perfect, every single one full of flavor and freshness. Highly recommend the yaprak ciğer, fesleğenli levrek, and köpoğlu, all beautifully prepared and delicious. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the music and setting create just the right mood, and the whole place feels both cozy and lively at the same time. Great food, great people, and an amazing location. Special thanks to Nico and Felat for the wonderful hospitality!

Best Turkish mezzes in Berlin! Same (and maybe even better) taste that you can find in a traditional/local Turkish places. Staff is so kind, everything we ate (and we ate half of the menu) was delicious!

We went there as a group of friends from Istanbul along with some company from Helsinki and Kopenhagen to have a Meyhane (Taverna) night. We were quite happy with the food and the proper representation of meze culture of Turkey and something other than Kebab. The taste was just on point with everything. I was able to even eat liver for the first time in my life which was a miracle! The only note I could give was that the Octopus and Garnelen or meat skew portions definitely need to be a bit bigger considering the prices but other than that food just hit the spot. Diverse Raki Menu is a plus as well. They’re pretty new in town so some adjustments with the service etc is needed whereas we had to check the bill and take out some things that we hadn’t ordered. However their willingness to correct and do it right was what’s important. The staff was pretty attentive and kind. The music selection was good. Will definitely be coming here again

Great food & atmosphere for anyone who wants to experience traditional Turkish Mezes. The staff is kind and extremely attentive. We visit this place almost every week and they are incredibly attentive to detail and hospitable every time we visit. There has not been a place this nice and reflects real Turkish meze bar experience in Berlin. Keep up the amazing work!

An absolute delight! Fantastic authentic Turkish food, very cosy atmosphere and extremely welcoming and friendly staff. We were so happy, my wife and I, to dine there our last night during our short holiday in Berlin.

Very helpful staff, offered us help with an English menu and gave great food recommendations. The servers were very kind and attentive. Everything we are was delicious - the chef's selection for Maze was very good. Also highly recommend the Fellah Kofte & Burek.
